Getting around
A rental car is recommended and can be arranged through the hotel for collection at the airport. The Westpunt bus stop is a ten-minute walk, runs every two hours and takes about an hour to the town centre. There is no ATM in Westpunt; the nearest is in Barber, about a ten-minute drive.
- Cards are accepted almost everywhere; a little cash helps at kiosks.
- Driving is the most comfortable way to move around the island.
- The sun is strong even on breezy days — plan around midday.
- Snorkelling gear is easy to rent at most bays.
